The project offers:
- The opportunity to apply for the permanent residency in the Czech Republic after a shorter period of time than normally required - after 2.5 years (standard category of qualified workers) or only after 1.5 years (category of highly qualified workers) of working and living in the Czech Republic.
- The opportunity to apply for the permanent residency in the Czech Republic for the immediate family (husband/wife, children) 60-days protection period to find a job under certain specific conditions, as early as in the first year of participation in the project.
Conditions for participation in the project:
- Being a citizen of one of the following countries: Albania, Argentina, Armenia, Australia, Azerbaijan, Belorussia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Brazil, Monte Negro, Philippines, Georgia, Guatemala, Honduras, Chile, Croatia, India, Indonesia, Israel, Japan, South Africa, Cambodia, Canada, Kazakhstan, Korea, Costa Rica, Cuba, Kyrgyzstan, Laos, Macedonia (FYROM), Malaysia, Mexico, Moldova, Myanmar, Nepal, Nicaragua, New Zealand, Panama, Paraguay, Russian Federation, Salvador, Singapore, United States, Serbia, Sri Lanka, Tajikistan, Thailand, Turkey, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, Uruguay and Uzbekistan or
- Being a graduate of any of the accredited Czech universities (with the exception of those who benefited from the development aid program), subject to the condition that you graduated in 1995 or later, regardless of your citizenship * or
- Being a graduate of one of the accredited Czech secondary schools, subject to the condition that you graduated in 2000 or later, regardless of your citizenship
SELECTION PROCEDURE CRITERIA "SCORING":
Employment in the Czech Republic – the points are allocated for the period for which the applicant has the work permit issued by the Czech Republic. 1 point is allocated for every two moths of validity of the work permit. In total, the applicant can obtain a maximum of 6 points.
Education – Two points for a professional secondary education, up to a maximum of 15 points are assigned for a PhD degree.
Knowledge of languages – Czech or Slovak language ( 6 points will be given for a language exam certificate), English, French and German (3 points will be assigned for each certificate). The maximum number of points that can be obtained is 9 . Knowledge of Czech or Slovak is not mandatory.
Age – Four points will be assigned for those below age 23; 8 points are given to applicants between the ages of 23 and 35. One point will be deducted for each additional year over 35. There is no age limit for applicants.
Previous experience from the Czech Republic – One point for every confirmed 6-month period spent continuously in the CR before being considered for the project (a score of 6 is the maximum).
Work experience – One point for every 6-month period in any full time job held prior to the day of validity of the work permit with which the applicant files the application to the project (a score of 12 is the maximum).
Family – up to 6 points for a spouse meeting the same criteria as the applicant and up to 2 points for each dependent child (a score of 10 is the maximum).
